The homeowner noticed brown dried-up spots in his vaulted ceiling near the chimney. We diagnosed the issue as a leak from failed seals around the chimney. We removed the old caulk in the area and re-sealed the area around the chimney, keeping the roof from leaking and giving this homeowner peace of mind. 

We transformed this customer's detached garage roof from old, rotting shingles into a new, long-lasting & affordable roof. 

Even though the typical lifespan of a roof can be up to 30 years, harsh weather conditions can speed that process up. In this case, there were old, decaying shingles, and even some fiberglass was showing on the edges of some shingles. If your shingle roof has a shine to it when hit by direct sunlight, it is likely the fiberglass backing is showing on the shingles. When the fiberglass backing begins to shine, it means a shingle is reaching the end of its life.

Klaus Roofing Systems brought this old roof back to life with a full roof replacement! Old roofing materials were completely removed and replaced with brand new IKO Dynasty architectural lifetime shingles. New aluminum boot flashings around chimney, drip metal on all eaves of the roof deck, and rake metal on the outside rake edges were also installed. 

After the homeowners recently replaced their entire roof in 2023, the homeowner is now experiencing leaking and seeks to replace the rubber roof.
